This summer, Yellow Wood Academy is offering in person and online summer school designed for the convenience of families. Choose from:

  • Courses for Credit

  • Summer Camps

  • Arrowsmith Program

Each program is tailored to fit your child’s unique learning needs. With just five weeks of focused instruction, your child can stay academically engaged while still having plenty of time for summer fun!

For Credit Classes:

We are an accredited school and our high school credits transfer to public schools!

Academic Courses Offered:

  • Math (elementary, middle school, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus)

  • Reading, Writing, Language Arts (elementary, middle, ELA 9-12)

  • Science (elementary, middle, Biology, Environmental Science)

  • Social Studies (elementary, middle, World History 10, US History, Civics, CWI)

  • P.E. and Health (Yoga, General PE, high school Health)

  • Executive Function (4-12)

  • Spanish, German (online)

  • Programming (Intro. to Programming, Python I)

Cost: 

  • One class, five times per week: $3,257.50 (0.25 credit for high school)

  • One class, ten times per week: $6,515.00 (0.5 credit for high school)

  • One class, two times per week: $1,303.00

Extended School Year (ESY)
Contact your IEP Team

For students placed through districts, Extended School Year (ESY) is an option to be considered by the IEP (Individualized Education Plan) team. Students who qualify for ESY at YWA can look forward to a targeted and engaging program to support their goals.
