Yellow Wood Academy will be closed Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. We'll see you on Tuesday, May 26th!
Field Day Announcement – June 9th
Yellow Wood Academy is excited to announce our annual Field Day event on Monday, June 9th at Robinswood Park! Students will enjoy a day of outdoor activities, games, food, and community-building from 8:30 AM–1:30 PM.
Transportation to and from the park will be provided by school bus. If your student receives district transportation, please ensure they arrive at school by 8:15 AM so we can prepare for departure.
Please note that regular classes will resume at school after the event, and supervision will continue until our normal dismissal time of 3:30 PM. Students whose regular pickup time is after 1:30 PM are welcome to remain at school for the rest of the day.
Lunch will be provided and will include:
Costco pizza and hot dogs
Chips
Drinks
Snacks
If your student has food allergies or dietary restrictions, please send a lunch from home.
As the weather may be warm, we encourage students to bring:
A water bottle
Sunscreen
Comfortable clothing and shoes
Any additional items needed for their comfort and enjoyment
Please complete the attached permission form and return it to the school no later than Friday, June 5th.
We are looking forward to a fun and memorable day together!
Yearbook Orders
Order your Yellow Wood Academy 2025–2026 Yearbook today for just $20!
Please place your order by June 8th to ensure your student receives their yearbook. Yearbooks will be distributed on Field Day, June 9th. Don’t miss out on capturing this year’s special memories!
Summer Camp Enrollment
If you are interested in enrolling in our new Summer Camps, please enroll by this Friday, May 22nd. Due to current low enrollment levels, we will make decisions about final summer camp schedules after this deadline and offer full refunds to any campers whose camp is cancelled.
